Drainage Field Installation in Droxford, Hampshire
Sewage Treatment Plant Installation in Ashford, Kent
Boxall Ward recently completed the installation of a new sewage treatment system at Rowan House in Ashford, Kent, replacing an existing BioRock system that had failed.
After assessing the site and the requirements of the property, a Matrix CLF3 IPS sewage treatment plant was selected for the replacement.
Installing the New Sewage Treatment System
The work involved excavation for the new treatment plant and associated drainage, together with the installation of new pipework and inspection chambers.
As the photographs show, a substantial part of an off-mains drainage installation happens below ground. Careful excavation and preparation are essential to ensure that the treatment plant, pipework and associated drainage system are installed correctly.
A new drainage field was also constructed, with distribution pipework laid across a prepared bed of drainage stone. Once completed, the system could be covered and the surrounding ground reinstated.
